We continue sharing highlights from the E-MED Final Meeting, held in Barcelona and Badalona with the participation of the project consortium.
After sharing some of the key moments in photos, we now bring this experience to life through video: a visual recap of the meetings, technical exchanges, site visits and discussions that marked the closing stage of the project.
The gathering focused on the validation and exploitation of E-MED solutions aimed at making public transport systems more energy- and resource-efficient. Throughout the sessions, partners presented results, exchanged lessons learned and reflected on the next steps for the project.
The work developed within E-MED includes solutions such as fleet and network planning tools, eco-driving support, data analytics, AI-assisted maintenance and electric, green and circular public procurement guidelines. These tools and approaches are designed to support data-driven planning and the deployment of cleaner and more efficient public transport systems.
This final meeting was also an opportunity to consolidate the project’s outcomes, strengthen cooperation among partners and reflect on how E-MED can contribute to cleaner, more efficient and more resilient public transport systems across the Mediterranean region.
