The E-MED project attended a 2-day event from 10th to 11th April 2024 held in Turin, Italy, within the context of the Green Living Areas Thematic Community Projects. The Governance Projects under the Green Living Areas Mission brought together partners from the nineteen ongoing thematic projects devoted to a wide variety of topics all centred on a greener transition in the Mediterranean.
On Day 1 professor Miquel Estrada, project coordinator of E-MED, presented the core ideas of the project and participated in a collaborative session with the rest of the GreenLivingAreas thematic projects, creating synergies to promote green living areas in the Mediterranean community within the Interreg EuroMed Programme projects.
Day 2 presented the event “What’s new for Green Living Areas?” organised by the Community4LivingAreas – C4LA project, with the collaboration of the Dialogue4LivingAreas – D4LA project. Not only Green Living Areas project partners but also attendees from outside the Interreg Euromed Programme were welcomed to participate in the three sessions devoted to exchange best practices related to tools, strategies, and policy instruments for promoting greener territories.
